WebSpy on Windows 7
Now that Microsoft have officially released the long awaited Windows 7 Operating System, I thought I'd write a quick blog on WebSpy's current support for Windows 7.
Now that Microsoft have officially released the long awaited Windows 7 Operating System, I thought I'd write a quick blog on WebSpy's current support for Windows 7.
Here's a video I put together demonstrating how to get up and running with a complete monitoring and reporting solution in less than 15 minutes. The video demonstrates three products: WebSpy Sentinel, for complete data capture, WebSpy Live for real time alerts, and WebSpy Analyzer Standard for analysis and reporting.
A couple of weeks ago I posted a blog regarding Microsoft's upcoming Beta 3 release of Forefront Threat Management Gateway (TMG) which will be replacing Microsoft ISA server. Well, it's now been released and can be downloaded from the Microsoft Download Center.
It sounds like Threat Management Gateway (TMG), the new re-branded version of ISA Server, has been a popular topic at this years TechEd event in the US. According to the latest blog from TMG's Product Unit Manager, David B. Cross, Beta 3 will be released in the next couple of weeks. As for the full release, David says that they are still on track for Q4 this calendar year.
We’ve issued a bunch of auto updates for nearly all WebSpy products today Of particular note is a fix to the Vantage range: · Fix: Improved partition matching when filtering by a date range This will benefit you if you're running reports with a date range filter such as last week or yesterday (which is pretty much everyone), and are using the default storage partitioning scheme of "Date" (again... pretty much everyone).
WebSpy today announced the remarkable success of their recently implemented e-commerce initiative. In the beginning of February 2009 WebSpy joined forces with e-commerce service provider Avangate to facilitate secure online purchases of Analyzer Standard, WebSpy’s SMB Internet monitoring and reporting software. WebSpy also enabled partners and online shopping sites to incorporate Avangate’s e-commerce links into their websites and receive a commission on every sale linked from their site. “Our e-commerce initiative has proven to be an immediate success for a number of reasons.” says WebSpy’s CEO, Jack Andrys. “Monthly Analyzer Standard leads have increased by 30% and new online affiliate requests, from resellers and download sites wanting to promote our software, are steadily increasing.”
